To assist with the establishment or development of community gardens in local communities. Ie: garden feasibility, planning and design; development of policies and manuals; training and other events at the garden; community engagement; advertising and promotion; building the capacity of the community garden sector and volunteers; evaluation of the garden and its programs; infrastructure; consumable items.

Open to: incorporated not-for-profit community organisation; local government authorities; an unincorporated organisation or community group, applying through the auspice of an incorporated body or a local government authority.

An unincorporated organisation without an auspicing arrangement; a federal or state government agency; an individual; a commercial for-profit organisation; an organisation located within the Indian Ocean Territories.
