To fund community organisations that make a difference by enhancing well-being and improving the social, environmental and economic outcomes for the Tasmanian community. Five category areas: children and young people; community participation and recreation; community well-being and life skills; connecting communities; culture, arts and heritage.

Non-profit legal entity based in Tasmania, or undertaking a project in Tasmania. Organisations sponsored by an incorporated organisation or a not-for-profit legal entity.

Organisations with overdue reporting obligations for completed TCF projects; projects which funding is more suitably sourced from another organisation; projects which produce a private benefit to a specific business or person(s); retrospective funding; conferences, forums or workshops; loans; or where it is apparent that the applicant is becoming dependent on TCF funding.
